Store it right
- Opaque, airtight container at room temperature.
- Only freeze in sealed portions you won't thaw twice.
Signs it has gone off
- Flat, cardboard smell.
- Oily, sticky clumps in ground coffee.
- Musty odour.
Never taste food to test it — a small bite is enough to make you ill.
